About Our Company
AKWABA ELEPHANT D’OR is a company where experts from different African countries, Serbia, and European countries, with experience in new agricultural and commercial technologies, collaborate. Our specialty is to train, monitor and integrate our agricultural cooperatives and partners into the world of modern agriculture, based on fair trade and sustainable development.
The company was founded with the aim of improving the living standards of agricultural producers in Côte d’Ivoire and providing assistance in training farmers and facilitating the marketing of agricultural products from villages in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and preparing food of the highest quality for the local and international markets.
The company has all the necessary licenses for buying and trading on the local and international market of cocoa and coffee. (BUREAU VERITAS CERTIFICATE and RAINFOREST ALLIANCE CERTIFICATE).
We also ensure the import of food products from fruits and vegetables from a program that is not represented in the production of the Republic of Ivory Coast, and we import wine, apples and products of geographical origin from the southeast of the EU.

Farmer's participation and his personal development
In our approach, we emphasize the close connection between the farmer’s participation in various projects and his personal development. So, we start from the individual (farmer, cooperative member) to the community (cooperative) in order to highlight the importance of the quality of the « individual – community » relationship. The base constituted in this way allows us to develop a spirit of trust and loyalty on the one hand, between the farmer and the cooperative, and on the other hand, between the cooperative and its partners BKM-SERVICES and AKWABA ELEPHANT D’OR.
AKWABA ELEPHANT D’OR is a partner of more than 300 cooperatives for the processing and/or export of coffee-cocoa, cashew, oil palm and many other agricultural products. We work with coffee and cocoa cooperatives certified within the global fair trade program, RAINFOREST AND FAIRTRADE.
Also, we cooperate with partners for the export of fresh or frozen seafood products.
